Our Opticians

Kathy Rouse - Kathy works primarily out of our office in Biloxi just off Popp's Ferry Road. The actual address of the Biloxi Office is 431 Bertucci Blvd. in Biloxi. Kathy was instrumental in opening and development of the optical departments at all Tri-County Eye Clinic Locations. She has been with Tri-County Eye Clinic since it started over 25 years ago. Kathy's hands on experience began in Mobile, Alabama in 1974. Kathy's responsibilities include overseeing the review and purchase of the latest fashionable and practical frames as well as educating the staff in production and manufacturing of eyeware in all three office locations. She reviews quality assurance information to be sure that our patients are happy and that they are pleased with their purchases of eyeware and options that they chose. The frame and lens quality is often overlooked by many optical bargain stores, and Kathy purchases only high quality lenses and brand name frames and durable frames for the best in service to the patients. Kathy leads our optical department staff and is considered one of the optical leaders on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We are truly fortunate to have her leading our team.

Mary Sharer-Picard - Mary works primarily out of our office at Orange Grove located on Dedeaux Rd in North Gulfport. Mary has been with Tri-County Eye Clinic over 14 years (since April 1993). Mary has over twenty (20) years of optical retail experience. She specializes in frame selection, fitting, and helping the patients find just what they are looking for. Mary also specializes in optical product evaluation and specialty lens selection. She has extensive experience with assisting in Progressive Lenses, transitions, polarized and polycarbonate lenses). She enjoys reviewing the manufacturers specifications and locating the latest in fashion and style. Mary is highly skilled in frame and lens manufacturing and production. She uses all of the latest state of the art optical equipment necessary to deliver only the finest quality to her patients. Mary is considered one of our most skilled opticians and is a great member of our optical team.

Roncia Shell - Roncia works out of our office at Orange Grove located on Dedeaux Rd in North Gulfport. Roncia has been with Tri-County Eye Clinic over four (4) years, since (February 10, 2003). Roncia's many years of experience have developed her personal skills in matching the patient needs to the style of frame that fits. She is excited to have over 1,200 frames at each location giving her a wide variety of choices for the patients that she takes care of. Roncia specializes in name brand state of the art frames and lens combinations. She loves a challenge and educating our patients so that they make the right choice from the wide range of options. Roncia has been a wonderful addition to our optical staff.
