C. Curtis Gipson, M.D.

Dr. Gipson joined the Tri-County Eye Clinic in August of 1995 after practicing in Mobile, AL for the past 20 years. During his undergraduate studies at Vanderbuilt University, he spent a year abroad at the the University of Munich in Germany. He graduated medical school from Washington University, in St. Louis, and competed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Tulane Medical School in New Orleans.

Dr. Gipson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Gipson specializes in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery and cosmetic eye lid surgery. These surgical procedures are performed to reduce the effects of Ptosis (excessive upper eye lid skin) and Ectropion & Entropion. Dr. Gipson also sees routine eye care patients, who are in need of glasses or contacts. Medicare and most major insurance and vision plans accepted.
