Roderick D. Fields, O.D.

Dr. Fields joined Tri-County Eye Clinic in August of 1992 after practicing in Ocean Springs and Biloxi, MS for the past 22 years. Dr. Fields attended West Virginia Institute of Technology and completed his undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degrees at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Fields is a member of the Mississippi Optometric Association, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development & the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, Intl.

Dr. Fields specializes in contact lenses, especially the hard to fit candidates. He also offers the latest treatment for Dry Eye Syndrome. As a behavioral optometrist, Dr. Fields provides non-surgical treatment for Crossed-Eyes (strabismus), Lazy Eyes (amblyopia) and vision related learning problems. He maintains the only full time vision therapy department on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he also provides testing and treatment for patients with acquired brain injury such as stroke or head trauma. He is presently affiliated with Memorial Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation providing in house neuro-optometric care to the patients there.
